KALMATRON-N – Self-expanding waterproofing material for filling gaps and cold seams, waterproofing material.
It possesses the unique ability of self-expansion, making it ideal for filling grooves, cold seams, and application on concrete surfaces, effectively preventing water leakage. Additionally, it serves as a concrete contact agent.
A waterproofing material with self-expanding properties, exhibiting strong adhesion to various surfaces such as concrete, screed, plaster surfaces, plywood, plasterboard, and more.
Typically, dry screed is not advised for use on terraces and flat roofs due to its vulnerability to frost. However, this is possible when dry screed is coated with 2 layers of KALMATRON-N, following the prescribed technology:
- Prior to application, vacuum or sweep the surface of the dry screed.
- Mix KALMATRON-N with water until the desired consistency is achieved, carefully dosing water as needed
- Apply the first layer of the KALMATRON-N mixture at a rate of 1.8 – 2.0 kg/m2.
- Once the first layer has dried, apply a second layer of KALMATRON-N at a rate of 1.5 – 2.0 kg/m2.
